Taman Gandrung Terakota Cultural Tour
The Taman Gandrung Terakota Cultural Tour invites visitors to explore the terraced rice fields surrounding the site, accompanied by a guide who shares stories about the site’s history and the cultural heritage of Banyuwangi. Along the walk, guests can see terracotta Gandrung statues placed around and within the fields.
Visitors can also watch the Mini Gandrung Show, performed by two dancers every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 09:00 to 14:00.
Sendratari Meras Gandrung
Sendratari Meras Gandrung, is a grand performance that depicts the journey of an ordinary village girl becoming a professional Gandrung dancer, performed at Amphitheatre Taman Gandrung Terakota with panoramic views of rice paddies.
This performance highlights the “Meras’ procession, which means ‘graduation, as a symbol of success in overcoming various challenges and rigorous tests to become a Gandrung dancer.
